Executive chef Roy Ner has been honing his cooking skills and pursuing his lifelong passion of creating award-winning cuisine for over 20 years. Roy established his career in some of the best kitchens in Sydney – putting Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food on the map in Australia. Winning two-hats at ARIA (equivalent of Michelin stars), he went on to co-found Nour Restaurant in Sydney, earning a third hat before moving to the US and partnering with chefs Tim Hollingsworth (French Laundry) and Chard Robinson (Tartine Bakery). He then joined forces with a hotel group to open ZaZaTa in Brisbane, which won international acclaim as one of Australia’s best restaurants. He moved to London to launch Jeru London in 2021.
